Local boards work fully offline. Shared boards keep their last copy for viewing; marking or editing them needs a connection.

Keep the group yours.

The host can replace the invite, remove people and delete the group. Anyone can block, report or leave. Editing predictions clears marks with a warning first.

The memories are yours.
The data should be, too.

The app has no ads, analytics or tracking.
No access to your contacts, location, camera or microphone.

Local boards stay on your device. Shared groups store titles, predictions, nicknames, marks and member identifiers on the server, and expire after 30 days without activity. No purchases or push notifications.

Can I download Tales Ahead now?

Not yet. Tales Ahead is in private testing. Public App Store download is not available yet.

Which devices does it support?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later.

Do I need an account?

No. Join with a private invite code or link. There is no sign-up, email address or phone number. Up to 20 people can play in one group, including the host.

Does it work without internet?

Local boards work offline. A shared board shows its last copy offline, but you need a connection to mark or change it.

Is it a drinking game or gambling?

No. There is no money, betting or purchase in the app. Predictions reward noticing things, not dares or risky challenges. Keep it kind.
