Tales Ahead is in development. App Store availability has not been announced. These answers describe the current group service and app.
How do friends join?
The host shares a link or a 16-character invite code. Open Tales Ahead on your iPhone and choose to join a group, then enter the code. No account is needed. The group supports up to 20 people, including the host.
Why can't I join a group?
The code may have changed, the group may be full, or it may have expired after 30 days without activity. Ask the host for a new invite. After repeated attempts, wait before trying again.
Are marks shared?
Everyone plays the same nine events, but each person has their own marked cells. Other group members can see your progress. The app refreshes while open; an internet connection is needed for group updates.
Can we change the predictions?
Yes, any current member can edit the shared title and nine events. Editing the board resets everyone's marks. Confirm the change with your group before saving.
What happens if I delete the app?
Local boards and locally stored access credentials may become unavailable. Keep important exports somewhere you control. Deleting the app does not delete a group from the service. Leave the group or, if you are the host, delete it before removing the app. There is no account recovery.
Someone shared content I don't want to see.
You can block that member to hide their nickname, progress and the current title or events they last changed. Blocking works for the host too. You can unblock later. Hidden events cannot be marked, and editing the shared list is disabled while it contains hidden content.
Use Report in the group to submit a concern, or email the operator below. You can leave immediately. Blocking changes only your own view and does not remove the other person's access. The host can remove a member, rotate the invite, edit the content or delete the group. Removing a member also invalidates the current invite. A removed person could rejoin if someone gives them a new invite, so keep replacement codes private.
A basic phrase filter rejects some obvious abusive language. It cannot detect every kind of harmful content. Reports are stored for operator review and do not trigger automatic removal. There is no public feed or chat.
